These amazing photos were sent to us by Chris Foden, whose late father John
Foden visited the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome in the early 1960s and snapped thirty
beautiful photos that capture the Aerodrome in its infancy. Among the aircraft seen
in the photos are four of Cole's original aircraft from Roosevelt Field, the SPAD XIII,
Sopwith Snipe, the fuselage of the Avro 504K, and the stripped fuselage of the
Aeromarine 39B. Many thanks to Chris for sharing these photos with us.
